Sat Dec 6 — Torah Study, Shabbat Service, and Baby Naming! — TIME ADJUSTED — 9 AM/10:15 AM

Hello again Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends, here is a minor time correction: Torah Study is moved up to 9:00 am and the service begins at 10:15 am to accommodate the additional activity we have planned.  Please note the correct times.

Hello Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends, next time we meet is an especially joyous occasion!  We will begin at 9:00 in the morning on Saturday, December 6 with Torah Study, which we have been enjoying.  Following that and a brief break, at 10:15 am we are delighted to share in the naming of the Feldman family’s new infant daughter, granddaughter, and niece.  We hope you will join Ethan and Ventura with their family in welcoming Bexleigh into our Jewish community.  The morning’s activities will all be in our synagogue building and simultaneously available through the Zoom link, please contact us for the link.

Shavua Tov, Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends, another month of observance, celebration, and togetherness is approaching!  Thanks to your contributions and the talents of our co-editor, Lorraine Mixter, we have a lovely and informative December 2025 issue of the Chai Lites for you to enjoy and ready you for all your congregation has to offer.  Look inside for columns from Rabbi Guyster and our President, Uriah Rose.  We are looking forward with delight to the Feldman family’s baby naming on December 6 and our Chanukah dinner and celebration on December 19.  Check those out and look out for the announcements as those dates get closer.

Hello Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends!  Please be with us again to welcome Shabbat on Friday, November 21 at 7:00 pm.  Rabbi Guyster will lead us in a traditional service and surely will have some new thoughts to share. Also come to hear more about upcoming holiday celebrations and Brotherhood/Sisterhood activities.  We will be meeting simultaneously in our brick-and-mortar synagogue and in our virtual synagogue available on Zoom. Hello Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends, it went so well we are doing it again!  Torah Study in October was so well-attended the library was packed, so we are moving into our larger meeting area.  Please come on Saturday, November 8 at 9:15 am to talk, listen, and learn with Rabbi Guyster.  Following a short break we will have a Shabbat morning service at 10:30 am.  Both events will be live on-site or via a Zoom link, please contact us for the link.

Torah Study and Shabbat Service — Sat Oct 25, 9:15 am

Hello Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends, as we discussed at the beginning of the month, the congregation preferred that this Shabbat Service would occur on Saturday morning, October 25.  We had such a good discussion on Yom Kippur afternoon that Rabbi Guyster suggested we schedule a Torah Study session!  The morning begins with Torah Study at 9:15 am — note the earlier time. The Shabbat service will follow at 10:30 am.  We are so looking forward to this date and to seeing you — if you cannot travel out to the synagogue, both activities will also be accessible through the Zoom link, please contact us for the link.

Member-Led Sukkot Service — Fri Oct 10, 6:30 PM

Dear Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends, we have many thanks for the Brotherhood/Sisterhood for quickly organizing a group to decorate our Sukkah, and now we invite you to enjoy it with them, the congregation, and our larger community in a brief member-led Sukkot service on Friday, October 10 at 6:30 pm.  Weather permitting, please join us in the Sukkah to make blessings and shake the lulav and etrog.  The group is headed to Outback Steakhouse for dinner after the service if you would like to join that as well.
