Hello Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends, there’s so much for you to see in the August Chai Lites!  You just have to look inside for information on the upcoming Brotherhood/Sisterhood meeting and bagels (Sunday, August 3 at 10 am), the new picture of Bexleigh Feldman (she is a cutie!), announcement about our Meet and Greet with Rabbi Guyster on August 24, lay services, and more!  Thanks once again to Past President and Past Editor Lorraine Mixter for preparing another fantastic newsletter, and for all your contributions.

Member-Led Shabbat Service — Fri Jul 25, 7 pm

Hello Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends, our Summer Member-Led Shabbatseries continues with what is sure to be an enjoyable and meaningful service prepared by our esteemed president, Uriah Rose, along with Krystal Rose.  The service will be this Friday, July 25 at 7:00 pm.  You can join us at our synagogue building, and Zoom is available by contacting us.

Hello Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends, our series of relaxed and inviting Summer, Member-Led Shabbat services continues, with a warm and illuminating service presented by our Board Trustees, Arlene Greenberg and Lee Ann Martinez.  They are a dynamic duo!  Services will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 12.  After the service a group is going to Bowman Yard at 308 4th St. SW in Winter Haven for lunch, so if you are interested, inquire within.

We and the Meryl Crews family appreciate all of the prayers, good wishes, meals, and visits since Meryl experienced her medical event, hospitalization, and rehab earlier this year.  Meryl’s healing process will now continue at home.  She and her family will need support through this adjustment.  Debbie Grinker kindly set up a GoFundMe account to let us help, so if you can and would contribute, here is the link:

Hello Temple Beth Shalom Members and Friends, the July 2025 issue of the Chai Lites is here!  The last month was a difficult one with more sadness than we wanted for the start of our Summer, but because of all of you we also had much sweetness.  We so appreciate Lorraine Mixter for jumping in to prepare this issue while Ethan took time with his family, and we thank her and all of you for filling the newsletter with the things that make us smile and keep us together.
